Shirley, is the owner of Alameda Tax
Services, LLC. She has more than 8 years of experience in tax
preparation. Shirley is a dynamic operations and customer
service manager who leads by example. Leadership positions have included managing teams and projects.
Skilled in management techniques that increase productivity,
efficiency, and quality. Excels in managing fluid situations
and environments that demand positive and decisive leadership. Shirley has 4, very successful,
years of experience as a Registered Tax Professional with a
large tax preparation firm, before starting her own tax preparation business.
She
also works as Head Clerk, at Lucky's Supermarket, Montclair,
from 1992 to Present. She manages cashiers, training, customer
service, payroll, bookkeeping and scheduling of staff.
Examples of Shirley's experience include the following:
- Personal Income tax returns of all
types, including all states. Sole proprietor and contract
employee returns, together with all necessary schedules.
- Partnership and LLC returns.

Shirley has an, AA in Business Accounting,
from LANEY College, Oakland, CA - 1992. She speaks English and Chinese
(Mandarin/Cantonese).

Bob, is the
co-founder and managing member of Alameda Tax Services, LLC. He
has more than 15 years of experience in taxation. Bob, is
responsible for overall quality control, management and practice
development. Prior to founding the company, he worked for 11
years with a large tax preparation firm, after he retired, as
Vice President of InterContinental Hotels.
Examples of Bob's experience include the following:
- Personal Income tax returns of all
types, including all states. Sole proprietor and contract
employee returns, together with all necessary schedules.
- ITIN's - Bob is a Certified Acceptance
Agent for the IRS for the preparation and submittal of
W-7's, for those needing an Individual Taxpayer
Identification Number (ITIN).
Bob served as a City of Alameda,
Development Commissioner for 3 years. He is an active member of
Mensa. He has lived and worked in many foreign countries. He
holds a Bachelors degree from The Citadel, Charleston, SC

Carol, joined our firm in 2016.
She has more than 10 years of tax preparation and accounting
experience. She was, previously, a Tax consultant, at a
major tax preparation firm in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
After, studying for her Master's degree in Fiscal Economics,
at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, she
relocated to New York, where she worked for a number of
years. In 2016 she moved to California, joined and grew into
an important asset to our company.
Examples of Carol's experience include:
- Income tax reporting and
compliance for both personal and corporations.
- Filing of tax returns, both
efiling and paper returns.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping
services
- Tax planning for personal
and business entities.
Carol is currently pursuing her
California and Federal Tax training.
